Guess where I'm going this weekend?
Liz and I are going on a road trip. Starting at 5 o'clock today we'll be on the road for 4 (4 and a half, 3...no one can decide) hours headed towards the east coast. Our sweet friend Burch (Matt) invited us up to Lake Keowee for the weekend and since Birmingham is boring and we'd both enjoy a little time away from the city, we've packed our bags and Liz is picking me up at work. I'm excited about the lake - I'm also excited about the trip up. I pretty much know what the highway from Birmingham to Atlanta looks like, but after that it's all new territory. I think we might also have a chance to stop and say hello to these precious people. I swiped this picture off the internet. I've never been to a lake that had legit sailboats...that's just not Lake Martin's style. I've picked out the perfect virtual lake outfit....
and tomorrow I'll tell you how I did it. If you're as smart as I think you are...you might figure it out just by clicking on the image. Either way - this site is cool, and I'm going to promote it a bit in the morning. (YES - I know that sweatshirt was made for a man, but I still think it looks comfortable...obviously I would order it in a small size) So - while I'm at the lake (or on the highway) I hope y'all are having just as much fun! Have a fabulously wonderful weekend...
P.S. I'm taking my monster camera...I'll let you know how that goes.

Well here I am out in the real world seeking the next Garden and Gun after a fine night of 'ritas and enchiladas de pollo at the Zona. And also wondering if we can work on the difference in new and knew or won and one, since having that Horned Frog diploma is quite an achievement in its own right, especially in an era when the the Frogs are not only kicking it in the classroom but on the gridiron, too.
